Sacramento’s 10th Street, in front of the California State Capitol, looked like the staging area for something big as the entire H1 Unlimited fleet lined up for the official press conference and welcoming ceremony for BigWake Weekend on Folsom Lake.

Speakers including Folsom Mayor Steve Miklos and California Assemblywoman Beth Gaines told the media and the H1 teams how happy the area was to have the hydros returning to Folsom after a 46 year absence.

Following the event, the race teams made the 30 minute trip to the pit area at Granite Bay to begin setting up.
