Richland, Washington — November 15, 2025 — The H1 Unlimited Racing Series gathered this weekend in the Tri-Cities region for its annual convention and awards banquet, celebrating the achievements and dedication that defined the 2025 season. The ceremony, held Saturday evening at the picturesque Terra Blanca Winery, brought together team members, officials, volunteers, and partners from across North America to honor excellence both on and off the
water.
The evening’s top honor, the National High Points Championship, went to Andrew Tate, driver of the U-91 Goodman Real Estate representing BWR Racing, who also claimed the Team National High Points Championship. Tate’s consistency and dominance throughout the season cemented his place atop the standings, capturing the prestigious Bill Muncey Award for 2025.
Runner-up in National High Points went to J. Michael Kelly and the U-8 Beacon Electric / Strong Racing team, while Dave Villwock and BWR Racing’s U-27 Miss Apollo finished third overall.
“This banquet is more than an awards night, it’s a celebration of the passion, teamwork, and innovation that keep our sport strong,” said H1 Chairman Mike Denslow. “From the volunteers and officials to the drivers and crews, every person in this room plays a part in advancing hydroplane racing for future generations.”
The annual H1 convention also included key meetings focused on the 2026 season, technical updates, and future race site planning, ensuring continued growth and collaboration among teams and host cities across the circuit.
