JMK Extends Contract With Strong Racing Through 2026
Darrell Strong congratulates J. Michael Kelly on his win in San Diego
Strong Racing and J. Michael Kelly announced today an extension of Kelly’s driving contract with Strong through 2026. Kelly won the recent Bill Muncey Cup at San Diego Bayfair in a dramatic final heat duel with Andrew Tate in the U-91 Miss Goodman Real Estate.
On signing the extension Kelly said “I want to stay with Strong Racing and continue to improve on our winning combination.” Owner Darrell Strong added “I have tremendous respect for Mike’s driving talent and what he brings to the team and I don’t want to see him go anywhere else.”
The 2026 season will be Kelly’s sixth with the team and they have plans in place to make the U-8 even faster next year.
