H1 Unlimited announces that Peters & May Racing will be the official logistics provider for the series again in 2015.

The promoter of the world’s fastest boats has been using Peters & May Racing to transport its fleet of Unlimited Hydroplanes to and from Doha, Qatar since 2010. According to H1 Chairman, Steve David, the professionalism shown in handling these shipments and the support that Peters & May Racing has for the sport proved to be a major factor in the selection process.

David says, “As with any business we have had to carefully study our costs to make sure we are getting the best value for money. With the cost of our transportation to Doha being such a major one, we were keen to explore all opportunities. Through the quality of the service they have offered us over the past 5 years, Peters & May Racing set a solid benchmark for others to try and meet. Although we may have been offered some cheaper solutions we felt that the professionalism, experience and expertise Peters & May Racing offered us resulted in the best value for money. On that basis we are delighted to appoint them as our Official Logistics Provider up to and including our 2019 season.”

The racing division of the world’s leading marine logistics company, Peters & May, announced earlier this year that it will continue to sponsor the U11 Unlimited Hydroplane as well as other powerboat racing programs. Peters & May Racing not only provides support to the individual racers and teams, but the company continues to provide contracted logistical support to organisations such as the Qatar F1 powerboat team and is also the Official Logistics Partner of the American Power Boat Association (APBA).

David Holley, the CEO of the Peters & May Group, was delighted to receive the news of Peters & May Racing’s appointment. “We have been working with H1 for a number of years and we really enjoy the challenge of handling their logistics. It’s easy to support a sport that you care so much about and this appointment is another feather in our cap.”

The H1 Unlimited season kicks off on the 4th July weekend with the Indiana Governors cup in Madison, Indiana.
