Mike and Lori Jones have announced that Jon Zimmerman will keep his seat in the U-9 and the team will compete in the the 2011 Lamb-Weston Columbia Cup as MissVisitTRI-CITIES.com
The boat was leased to the U-1 Oh Boy! Oberto team for the Detroit Gold Cup as a replacement for the team’s primary hull which was back in Madison undergoing repairs.
Zimmerman, subbing for regular Oberto pilot Steve David, turned in an excellent Gold Cup qualifying run and the boat appeared to be very competitive.
