2013 Sacramento Race Announced

At a press conference held Monday at Folsom Lake, near Sacramento, California, H1 Chairman Sam Cole and local officials announced that Unlimited Hydroplane racing will return to the area for the first time since 1967.

The H1 Series hydroplanes will be part of “Big Wake Weekend” at Granite Bay SRA on Folsom Lake May 31-June 2, 2013.

“We’re excited to bring the fastest boats in the world and the thrill of the H1 Unlimited Hydroplane series back to Northern California and the Capitol City,”  said Cole.

The USA Racing partners stopped in Sacramento on their way to the season opener next weekend in Madison, Indiana and had their 88 Degree Men Hydroplane on display at the press conference.
