Speed Sport 1 H1 Unlimited Marathon Runs January 6-11
SPEED SPORT 1, the new motorsports television network dedicated free, live racing from the United States and around the globe, will present an H1 Unlimited Hydroplane racing “marathon” this weekend starting Saturday at 7pm ET. Each of the 4 rounds of the 2023 season will be aired back to back, and the block will repeat multiple times through the weekend. You can watch it all right on your phone (iOS and Android – search for Speed Sport 1 in your app store), or on Apple TV and Fire TV.
The marathon kicks off just as H1 Unlimited Hydroplane racing enters an exciting new era, and gathers to celebrate an exciting 2023 championship season at its annual banquet on Saturday, January 6th at the Angel of the Winds Casino Resort in Arlington, WA.
A special preview of “The Road to the Gold Cup”, produced by SPEED SPORT in conjunction with H1 Unlimited Hydroplane, will be aired at the banquet as well. The one-hour documentary will air later in January.
The objective of the partnership between SPEED SPORT and H1 Unlimited Hydroplane Racing is to build upon the already-excellent livestream and social media productions to deliver quality packaged and (eventually) live television to a massive audience – introducing entirely new generations to what once was a staple of main stream sports television. SPEED SPORT 1 is being developed by and led by veterans of motorsports television with experience at SPEED Channel, ESPN, MAVTV, FOX Sports, Motortrend, etc. — and is supported and marketed via America’s oldest and most trusted name in motorsports news and information – SPEED SPORT – celebrating its 90th year in 2024.
SPEED SPORT 1, its television network, announced last summer, is now available on Apple TV and iOS, Android, and Amazon Fire. It will be rolling out this quarter on major platforms, connected televisions and digital networks – with planned reach exceeding 100 Million households.
